Welcome Friends, Colleagues, and Visitors to the Health Law Section!
The Boston Bar Association (BBA) has a long history of commitment to education, community service, and access to justice. The Health Law Section of the BBA shares and promotes those goals, and is committed to providing timely, practical and relevant information to practitioners who focus on a broad range of issues of interest to the healthcare industry – as well as connecting in-house lawyers, government officials and private practitioners to address the most important issues of the industry.
Today’s Health Law Section is composed of over 600 attorneys sharing a common interest in issues relevant to the healthcare industry. The Health Law Section is a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas leading to engagement on issues that affect the profession as a whole, as well as strengthening connections between attorneys who practice in this diverse and growing specialty. The Health Law Section is made up of 6 committees, each with at least two co-chairs with a special expertise. The programming of the committees makes up the core of the Section’s activities, and includes substantive law discussions on topical and timeless issues in brown bag lunch meetings, CLE programming, panel discussions and symposia, as well as social and networking events.
On the BBA’s website, you can learn more about the Health Law Section’s programs, events and activities.
We particularly wish to invite law students and new lawyers to attend our programs and events. If you would like to participate or learn more about Health Law Section activities, please contact us. And please visit and comment at the Boston Bar Association’s Linked In page!
Once again, welcome, and we hope you will become involved with the BBA and its Health Law Section.
